How to replace the side brush of my Robot Vacuum

Tapo Robot Vacuums have various moving parts, some of which require replacement and/or servicing at specific intervals due to wear under normal operation. One of these parts is the Side Brush, which should be replaced every 3 – 6 months. To replace your Tapo Robot Vacuum’s Side Brush, please refer to the steps below.

For RV20/RV20 Plus/RV20 Mop/RV20 Mop Plus

Replace the main brush every 3-6 months.

How to replace

1. Turn your Tapo Robot Vacuum over to access the bottom of the unit.

2. Identify the colors on the side brushes and the slots of the robot vacuum (black-black; white-white.)

3. Using adequate force, pull to remove the side brush.

4. Install the new side brushes according to the colors and press them tightly to ensure they are installed in place.

 

For RV10 Lite

Replace the main brush every 3-6 months.

How to replace

1. Turn your Tapo Robot Vacuum over to access the bottom of the unit.

2. Locate the Side brush.

3. Using adequate force, pull to remove the side brush.

4. Install the new side brush, pressing firmly to ensure it is secured in place.

For RV30 Plus/RV30/RV10 Plus/RV10

Replace the main brush every 3-6 months.

How to replace

1. Turn your Tapo Robot Vacuum over to access the bottom of the unit.

2. Locate the Side brush.

3. Using adequate force, pull to remove the side brush.

4. Install the new side brush, pressing firmly to ensure it is secured in place.
