How to block a device or remove a device from the Deny List

The Block List feature of the Deco allows you to block a device from accessing your Deco network.

Here we take Deco M5 as an example.

How to block a device

Method 1:

Launch the Deco app, go to More>Block List, press the “+” icon at the top right corner, then you can choose “Select Clients” or “Add by MAC Address”.

If you choose “Select Clients”, you can select a device connected to the Deco network to block, and please tap Add to add the device to the Block List.

If you choose “Add by MAC Address”, please enter the MAC address of the device you want to block, then tap Save to add the device to the Block List.

Method 2:

Launch the Deco app, and go to the Online Client page, tap the icon at the top right corner, then you are in the Block List page and can tap the “+” icon at the top right corner to choose “Select Clients” or “Add by MAC Address” to block a device.

How to remove a device from the Block List

On the Block List page, please find the device you want to unblock, then refer to the picture below to press the icon on the device, and then tap UNBLOCK to remove the device from the Block List.
