How to Connect Tapo Devices to Alexa
STEP 1
Make sure to first set up your Echo device.
STEP 2
Power on your Tapo smart plug and get close to echo. Go to Step 3 if your Echo or Alexa app notify “First plug found.”
Otherwise, set up your smart plug with the Tapo app. Then go to Me > Third-Party Services, select Amazon Alexa, and follow the in-app guidance.
STEP 3
Once you’ve completed setup, you can use your Tapo smart plug with Alexa. Just say “Alexa, turn on the first plug.”
