TP-Link PROVIDES NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE FOR WORLD CYBER GAMES MALAYSIA
TP-Link was present at this year’s 10th anniversary of the World Cyber Games in Malaysia. The networking company provided the network infrastructure for the games as well technical support on-site throughout the duration of the competition. TP-Link products working as the backbone of the network included their TL-R4299G Dual WAN Gigabit Load Balance Broadband Router with its load balancing function making it ideal for gaming environments such as WCG with powerful Gigabit switches TL-SG1024,TL-SG1016,TL-SG1008 and managed switches supporting the gamers throughout their hard-fought cyber battles.
TP-Link was responsible for networking eight different gaming areas comprising both online and offline game networking and totaling 180 individual computers hosting different games during the competition. The networking company was also responsible for providing free Wi-Fi throughout the WCG venue using their 300Mbps wireless N router TL-WR941ND.
With technical support team on hand for the duration of the event, organizers were very happy with TP-Link’s products and support throughout the competition with Rosso Index’s Senior Technical Support Engineer, Daniel Chong saying "TP-Link’s products rock!
