    TP-Link’S TD-W8960N GETS “FOUR STARS” FROM PC WORLD NEW ZEALAND

    New Zealand’s popular computer magazine, PC World gave TP-Link’s TL-W8960N “Four Stars” in a detailed review with overall merit “Good all-round wireless modem router delivering on performance, features and price”

    The review takes note of the modem router’s security, with support for all major security standards as well as its Quick Secure Setup Button (QSS). Also mentioned were the device’s Firewall and IPSec VPN functionality that allow users to create an encrypted connection to their network to exchange files to and from any computer on the Internet.   

    The review said the installation was simple and straightforward, and once set up the author says “I was blown away by the fact that my maximum download speeds jumped from 12Mbits/s to 16Mbits/s, which was totally unexpected. Connection stability was also rock solid, with 0% packet loss on 3 consecutive pingtest.net tests, and less than 1% loss after sending 1,000 packets to my ISP.” 

    Overall, the testers were impressed by the TD-W8960N’s speed, stability, features, and affordable price.
