How to set up TD-W8968 as a 3G router

Note: To use the 3G function, you should first insert your 3G USB modem on the USB port of the modem router.
Step 1
Open the web browser and type the IP address of the device in the address bar (default is 192.168.1.1, you can check it on the bottom label of the device). Press Enter.
Step 2
Type the username and password in the login page, the default username and password are
both admin. Click OK to login the device.
Step 3
Click Quick Setup on the left side:

The modem router supports three modes: ADSL Modem Router Mode, 3G Router Mode and Wireless Router Mode. Choose 3G Router Mode and then click Next.
Step 5
Select your location and ISP. You can tick “Set the Dial Number and APN manually” to manually set them according to the information provided by your 3G ISP. Click Next.
Step 6
If you want to connect to it via wireless, select Enable Wireless and set up your wireless network:
SSID: Create your wireless network name.
Wireless Security: Choose Disable Security to leave it unsecured or WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK(Recommended) to secure your wireless network and create your password in the Password box.
Step 7
Click Save to save the settings.
Step 8

Click Reboot.
