How to set up Deco with common ISP in UK
You may wonder if Deco can work for you after an internet connection delivered to your home by your service provider, we’ve listed below some of the most common ISPs with their respective configurations.
BT
BT Broadband connections come in different settings, including FTTP/FTTH and FTTC.
For BT FTTP/FTTH, you’ll likely have an Openreach modem (or ONT) installed inside your house and a BT Wi-Fi hub (Wi-Fi router) connected to the ONT. You can either use Deco to replace your Wi-Fi hub or use both.
And for BT FTTC, you’ll likely have a DSL modem router/Hub connected to the phone socket on the wall at home. You can connect a Deco to your modem or use Deco (only Deco X20-DSL, Deco X50-DSL, or Deco X73-DSL suitable) to replace your Modem/Hub.
