Media Sharing allows you to view photos, play music and watch movies stored on the USB disk directly from DLNA-supported devices, such as your computer, tablet or games console.

Here takes Archer VR2800 as demonstration.

Make sure Media Server is enabled.

1. Log in the web interface of the modem router. You can refer to How to log into the web-based interface of the AC VDSL/ADSL Modem Router (new logo)?

2. Go to Advanced > USB Sharing > USB Storage Device page. On the Sharing Settings part, make sure Media Server is ticked.

When your USB disk is inserted into the modem router, your DLNA-supported devices (such as your computer and tablet) connected to the modem router can detect and play the media files on the USB disks.

Here we take Windows 7 as an example.

Go to Computer > Network, then click the Media Server Name (Archer_ model number by default) in the Media Devices section.

Get to know more details of each function and configuration please go to Download Center to download the manual of your product.
