Introduction

The default username and password of Omada switch are admin/admin. For security, we recommend setting a more complex username and password. If you forget the username and password you set, this article will tell you what to do.

  • For Unmanaged, Easy Smart, Easy Managed, Smart Switches

These types of switches usually have a physical Reset button on the device. If you have forgotten the login username or password, you may need to factory reset the device by pressing and holding this button until the SYS LED starts flashing rapidly.

  • For L3/ L2+ Managed Switches

These types of switches usually do not have a physical Reset button on the device. If you have forgotten the login username or password, you can enter the bootUtil menu of the switch through the serial port to reset the login username and password without losing other configuration information.
