Fusion 2.5G: The First Products in the Fusion Gateway Lineup

Fusion 2.5G is the first product officially launched in the Fusion Gateway family, marking the beginning of a new generation of integrated networking solutions. Alongside it, Omada also introduced Fusion G+ and Fusion 2.5G PoE, expanding the lineup to support different deployment requirements.

With a built‑in controller, Fusion 2.5G provides access to centralised management features straight out of the box — no device licence required. Through the Omada Cloud portal and Omada app, users can remotely monitor, configure, and troubleshoot networks across multiple locations.

• Simplified Setup for Faster Deployment

Easily set up the Fusion Gateway via Bluetooth using the Omada app. Automatically discover and batch adopt all other Omada networking devices at once, significantly reducing setup time. Support for desktop, wall‑mounted, and rack‑mounted installations ensures flexibility across different scenarios.

• Enterprise‑Grade Performance

Powered by a high-performance quad‑core CPU and equipped with five 2.5G ports, up to 4‑WAN load balancing with auto failover, and advanced IDS/IPS, Fusion 2.5G delivers reliable, high‑speed, and secure connectivity, with up to 5× faster VPN performance compared to similar products in its class.

• Touchscreen‑Based Troubleshooting

The integrated 2.51’’ touchscreen offers real‑time visibility into device status, traffic, and diagnostics without a laptop, enabling faster issue identification and reducing repeat on‑site visits.

• Secure, One-Click Remote Network Access

The newly introduced Omada LightLink VPN enables secure, one‑click remote access using a simple invite link. Remote users and branch locations can connect instantly via app or web, ensuring protected network access anywhere.

• Advanced Software Capabilities

Supports multiple VPN protocols with optimised ACL, QoS, and full‑mesh SD‑WAN, providing flexibility and control for distributed networks.

 

Looking Ahead: Fusion Pro Series with a Unified Ecosystem

Omada also revealed plans to introduce the Fusion Pro series, which will further enhance centralised management and support integrated management of networking and surveillance devices, including Omada and VIGI products.

The Fusion Pro series is designed for more advanced, multi‑site environments, simplifying deployment, management, maintenance, and troubleshooting while reducing the cost of ownership through a single‑vendor solution.
