Internet fino a 100Mbps su linee VDSL2
TD-W9980 può fornire una connessione ad Internet fino a 100Mbps se connesso ad una linea VDSL2, pur rimanendo pienamente compatibile con le tradizionali linee ADSL. È progettato per il triple play3, ossia la gestione simultanea di servizi dati, voce ed HDTV, nonchè per offrire le migliori performance nel gioco online.
Dual Band simultaneo: 300Mbps a 2.4GHz e 300Mbps a 5GHz
Il Dual Band simultaneo offre la flessibilità di due reti dedicate. Le attività più semplici come l'invio di e-mail o a navigazione sul web possono essere gestite dalla frequenza 2.4GHz, mentre le applicazioni che richiedono maggiore banda come il gioco online o lo streaming video HD vengono elaborate dalla frequenza 5GHz. Tutto questo avviene simultaneamente.

Massima espansione di copertura
Le 3 antenne esterne che operano su copertura 5GHz e le 3 interne su frequenza 2.4GHz, combinate ad una tecnologia di ultima generazione, assicurano alta velocità su maggiore distanza.

Utilizzando le porte USB 2.0 gli utenti possono condividere stampanti, dati od eseguire file multimediali attraverso la rete LAN o da internet tramite la funzione FTP.

Porta LAN/WAN commutabile
