Objective
Dashboard is a statistics page in VIGI VMS and displays new messages, events, alarm trends, and more. This article introduces how to view new messages, events, and alarm trends.
Requirements
- VIGI VMS
- Web browser
Configuration
For VMS Cloud:
Step 1. Log in to the VMS Web (cloud) page.
Step 2. View statistics on the Dashboard.
- Method 1
If you return to the Dashboard after staying on a page other than the Event page, the total number of new messages when you’re away will be displayed in the form of toast on Events.
- Method 2
The latest events will be displayed on the Events page, showing the specific site, event, and event type.
Click an event to go to the Events page, then select this event and play it back. Click All Events to go to the Events page to display all events.
- Method 3
The alarm trends chart counts the number of alarm events and their change curves within a period of time (the default is the past week). You can also select the time and site to display, and the chart will change synchronously.
- Method 4
Click the icon in the upper right corner to choose to show/hide the event and alarm trends chart pop-up window.
VMS Local:
Step 1. Log in to the VMS Web (local) page.
Step 2. View statistics on the Dashboard.
- Method 1

The site alarms chart counts the total number of alarms for a single site within a period of time (the default is the past week). You can choose whether to only display device alarms under the main site.
